Nouns are names of people, places, animals, plants and things. There are two kinds of Nouns:
(A) Common Nouns
Common nouns are the names used to refer to people, animals, plants and non-living things.
Examples:
children family mountain flower
lorry road sky dinosaur
joy pen typhoon wood
(B) Proper Nouns
Proper nouns are special names given to particular persons, places or things. Proper nouns are written starting with a capital letter. Usually, determiners such as ‘a’ or ‘the’ are not found before a proper nouns.
